If you are coming to Houston from another city or state and wish to minimize hotel accommodation costs by rooming with another registrant, we can put you in touch with another registrant also interested in having a roommate.

However, making the arrangements is between those interested. We will only connect you with others with an interest in sharing rooms. That is the extent of our involvement with roommate matches.

PLEASE NOTE: There are hundreds of hotels in the Houston area. Those listed below are the ones that are closest to the University of Houston Downtown. If you stay in downtown Houston, you will easily get to the campus through the tram, rail, or Metro bus. You will also have easy access to countless restaurants, clubs, ball parks, etc. in the heart of the city.

Please call the hotels directly and ask for their "best available rate" and whether you will receive a better rate by booking online. The lowest average nightly room rates listed below are based on an Internet search. Please take the time to look at value websites and contact the hotels for any special offers.
